Salmon Arm Art Gallery accepts exhibition/project submissions on an ongoing basis from individual artists, groups, collectives or curators. Click the button below for submission guidelines.

Artist Bio:

Community Impact:

How does your proposal impact the local community? In other words, why does your proposal matter to the people who live here? Maximum 250 words.

Relationship to the Land:

What is your relationship to making and/or presenting art on stolen land? The Salmon Arm Art Gallery is located on the unceded and ancestral territories of the Secwépemc Nation, who have lived in kinship with this land, water and air for thousands of years. Applicants from the Secwépemc Nation do not have to answer this and may simply say that they belong to the Host Nation.

Art is for Everyone

Shuswap District Arts Council acknowledges it carries out its work on the traditional territories of the Secwépemc People. We pay our respects to the Elders, past and present, descendants and custodians of these lands. We honour the knowledge keepers and the continuing relationships with Secwépemc Peoples in the BC interior. The Arts Council is grateful to the Sxwetsméllp community (Neskonlith Band), on whose traditional territories we operate the Arts Centre and its programs.
