CSISS Cress Creek Community Weed Pull
Join us for a community weed pull at Cress Creek. A collaboration between the CSISS (Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society) and the Salmon Arm Art Gallery.
The invasive plant material will be used to make cordage for our current exhibition “Kúme”.

Hosted at the Centenoka Park Mall every Friday during the Kúme exhibition. Create cordage for the off-site community art collaboration at the mall.

Slow Socials - How We Gather
Saturday, June 14 - Salmon Arm Arts Centre, Lower Level Studio
On Saturday, we’ll be exploring how to create botanical prints using natural materials. While our dye pots simmer, we will explore what it means to gather as a community with Cathy Stubington, Christie Watson and Joyce Rosario
Sunday, June 15 - Salmon Arm Arts Centre, in the Art Gallery
Return on Sunday to see the dyed fabrics integrated into the Kúme exhibition. You will have the chance to learn how to make cordage - a simple rope - using plant materials and studio scraps.
Feel free to drop in anytime, on one or both days.
