Individuals are $20 per year, Family $25, Non-Profit Group $35 and Corporate $50. Purchase your membership during your next visit to the gallery.
Buy a Day at the Gallery
The Gallery earns revenue from its endowment fund, rentals, sponsorships and fundraisers, and receives grants from municipal and provincial governments. We offer the opportunity for individuals to sponsor a day at the Gallery for $75. You will receive a charitable tax receipt, and a special thank you on your day. The calendar of days is at the office reception area of the gallery. Simply choose your day and provide a cheque to the Arts Council for $75. Be sure to give us your full mailing address for the charitable tax receipt.
We welcome you to consider becoming an exhibition sponsor at the art gallery. In addition to knowing you are supporting an ongoing cultural conversation, you get to come to a party! Opening night is the perfect opportunity to invite family, friends and clients to celebrate the arts in our community.
A solo exhibition sponsorship is $500. A shared sponsorship is $300. This helps pay for exhibition expenses such as publicity, printing of posters, handbills and catalogues, and refreshments for opening night. As a sponsor, you will receive a one year membership, acknowledgement on publicity such as posters, exhibition catalogue and newsletter, as well as two posters and 25 handbills for your own use. There will be an opportunity on opening night to say a few words and your name will be displayed at the front desk for the duration of the exhibition.
Friends of the Art Gallery
Donations can be made directly to the Art Gallery to go toward our weekly programming for children, docent services and exhibition expenses. Or, donations can be made to the SAGA or Arts Council Endowment Fund at the Shuswap Community Foundation. The SAGA Endowment Fund was established in 2002 with the initial bequest from Mary Coles Michell. The Arts Council Endowment Fund was established in 2004 with a donation from Blair Borden. Each year, the Foundation grants the interest generated to the Arts Council for the purposes of supporting arts programming in the community. Friends of the Art Gallery receive a charitable tax receipt for their donation.
